I enjoyed doing this cause I could carry on from last weeks work. It was difficult getting the shoes in the right place though.

Samoan Shoe

Samoan Shoe

This is my shoe that represents the Samoan rugby team. I found it difficult to polyline, but I did enjoy it in the end.

9/11 Report Writing

9.11 Report

At 8:45 am, 11th of September, 2001, two of four planes deliberately flew into New York's Twin Towers.

It was a nearly cloudless Tuesday Morning, men and women were heading to work, some in the World Trade Center… not knowing what was soon going to happen. Meanwhile, in Boston two planes were being hijacked by roughly ten Islamic men. Some of the Islamic men had been living in New York for a year, while taking flying lessons so that proves that the crashes were certainly not accidental. Some say that the men had knives when they hijacking the planes. And hurt two men in the process, possibly killing one.

The whole world was affected by this terrible event. But physically, a total of 2,606. There were 145 people on the two planes that crashed into the towers and none of them survived. Men and women on the planes were constantly texting and calling their families. The last words to a man’s wife was, “I know were all going to die. There are three of us that are going to do something about it. I love you honey.” The flight attend was heard saying to the person on the other end of the line, “We are flying low, we’re flying way too low now…” then the call ended. The first American plane had hit the North Tower at 8:45am and the second plane sliced into the South tower about 18 minutes later. By then it was obvious that New York was under attack.

The collision caused a big explosion that sprayed lower buildings and the streets below with dust and rubbish. The explosion was caused by the 20,000 gallons fuel that was in the planes. The North Tower collapsed at 10:28am and the South Tower fell to the ground at 9:59am. Scientists say that the dust and fuel gas was highly dangerous. Men and women had to scatter back to their homes while covering their mouths because of the gases.

Overall it was a very dreadful day for New York. But the thing that I want to know is, what would make anyone to do such a thing as this?

Samoan Mascot!

Samoan Mascot!

Today I was learning about Samoa and their national flag, national animal and national flower.  I enjoyed working by myself on this piece of work because I could make my own decisions without worrying about whether my buddy likes my choice or not. I found it challenging to find a flower and animal, because there are alot of different ones. My digital learning object shows the animal, the flag, and the flower of Samoa. Next time I would work on my flower a bit more and have more detail.

Maths Quiz

Today I started and finished my maths quiz. I enjoyed making something for other people to use, but I found it quite hard to insert all the links and alternate between each slide.
